Default What traffic does your Blog get?

Just been looking at the stats for my blog and after just over 3 weeks I'm averaging about 33 hits a day so if I keep that rate up I may reach 1000 hits in a month which - for me - would be rather cool for a new site.

How are others doing? How long have you been blogging? Is traffic rising, falling, plateaued etc etc?

Tell me your story.

I'm averaging between 2K and 3K visits per day. My single biggest day was 12K, followed by 10K.

My traffic looked a lot like yours until I had a couple of posts go viral on the social networking sites. It's been close to a month now, and I seem to have hit a plateau around 2 or 3 thousand visitors per day.

I guess I've been blogging for about 2 months -- maybe 3?

12K???

In 2 or 3 months???

That's fantastic! My blog could never realistically expect those sort of figures so early because it's too general.

What were the stories that made the difference and created the interest?

This was the story that really blew up: How to Memorize Anything

What's funny is that I never seem to have any idea what people are going to go for -- that article took me about a half hour to write -- easy and very basic stuff.

I went for a whole week pulling in between 6K to 12K visitors per day, and all that traffic ended up spreading out to other posts causing 3 of the 4 articles in my sig (all but the anxiety one) to have smaller viral surges.

12k per day? I have blog for almost 2 years but the higgest rate for me is only 600+.

My blog is about Personal finance and financial freedom. I'm weak in writing and I keep improving on this. From my experience, the better content I write, the higher traffic i can bring to my blog. Currently my traffic is improving maybe because of my decision to write better content. Today, my average traffic is around 100+ per day(unique visitor). I have set a goal to hit 500 per day at the end of the year. Good luck to me ......

Keep at it, ********. I'm sure you'll get there.

If you're really looking to improve your writing skills, Copy Blogger is the best online writing resource I know. Brian Clark is an internet marketing genius, and I've used many of his tips to get the content on my own site in order.

Of course, my content is always a work in progress.

Just passed the 1000 hits barrier on the 30th day since I started the blog. Not huge traffic but not too bad for a new site.

Well, it's a year today since I started my blog and I got...

...11802 hits which is just 198 short of my original 12000 in a year, 1000 a month target.

Some way to go to catch Steve!
