Default greetings, from the painfully conservative U.S. Midwest

Yeah, obligatory "hi" and a hat-dip to all. I go off on random rants, so if you see an especially long post from me, best to just skip it and go on with your life.

If you live in mid-Missouri, USA, hit me up, we'll go cow-tipping.

namaste,
Jamie, the delightfully wry Pastafarian. Have you been touched by His Noodly Appendage?

Ahh, another FSM follower, I see. Welcome! My wife lives in His Noodly Embrace as well, so you two will have a lot in common.

Default "Cow-Tipping" and Other Midwest Delights

Lotus --

I was born in Indiana but managed to escape at the age of 12, from the "double 90 summers" (that's 90 degrees Fahrenheit and 90 percent humidity for you more fortunate ones). Of course, I wound up in the 120 degree summers of Arizona. But it's a dry heat ...

Oddly enough, even though I'm from a rural part of the state, I first heard of cow-tipping only a couple of weeks ago on a TV commercial. (Forgive me for being so blunt, but that sounds just about as pointless an amusement as is humanly possible -- hey, I know, let's humiliate a helpless animal that's too stupid to know that we humiliated it ... he-haw, he-haw, he-hahahaw!)

*Sigh.* And I'm from there, too.
