 Greetings from Japan Hello All, Have been an infrequent lurker here for over a year. Just graduated to occasional poster status ;-) Recently changed my game after 20 interesting years in Corporate IT world. Now playing full time Freedom Business Owner and Career e-Coach roles. Based in Japan since mid 90s. Brian Tracy's Psychology of Achievement was my initial attractor to PD back in 2002, thanks to a recommendation by a well known UK-based Solo Business Owner. That material helped get me sufficiently inspired in my own latent entrepreneurial potential to begin planning a transition from the Corporate world while sitting on a picture perfect beach in Guam mid-Dec 2004. And that then led to studying at the International Coach Academy ( International Coach Academy) while still gainfully employed with a Global Financial Services corp. I graduated from the Certified Professional Coach Program in 2006. It was quite a ride - and very useful even if self-coaching is all I ever do with it. My employer's global outsourcing program in 2007 opened the door to a smoother exit and so I find myself now in the brave new world of entrepreneurial freedom and self-reliance.      |
