| Hi everybody, guess I should take the time to let everyone know a little bit about me. My name is Jordan, I live in Great Falls, Montana. It's a very rural city, small with lots of casinos and churches. Not big casinos, but let's say gambling is one of the only fun things to do here. My family gambles a lot, its in the blood, heh. My grandpa is at the race track, my grandma plays bingo, my mom deals poker and plays occaisonally, and my dad hustles at pool. Can't say its a viscious circle, I haven't found the same passion for it as they have. My username may repel some, but its very symbolic. In a chinese calendar, my year of 1989 makes me a Snake. Very willful and easly tempered, physically attractive too or so I've read from the resturants pamphlets. I am also a Scorpio in the astrologcial table. Snake & Scorpio, it was without question that something was definitely weird about this matchup. Nevertheless, I cherish my signs. A senior in high school, I found these forums through Ken Nubo's blog. He has some very insightful articles. Can't say I agree with them all, but my favorite was his belief in constant improvement. There's a saying I always go by and it's ,"You only have one life, so live it." What's the point of just sitting around lazily watching the boob tube all day? No, I believe that by doing as much as you can and to the best extent, you can truly appreciate life. I do have a hard time figuring out where to start however. I've always picked something to improve on in each category and then move to the next one, eventually completing many skills in all categories. This is why I like the layout of this forum, there's a branch for essential skills. The one I plan on working on especially is relationships. I find that I've been cold to people lately and need to revamp, meet new people and be a lot more outgoing and social. So, that's me in a nutshell. Can't wait to meet you all! |

| Yeah, its horse racing? He's been doing it for years. I remember being with him at the derbies, watching the horses run live. He really gets into it, but I'd always just get bored and try to find something to do. I remember when I watched the Pacers/Knicks NBA Finals while he was betting, but that's a completely different story. When he wins, he hits big and we always celebrate. Its fun when he wins. |
