Default Good to meet you.

My name's Ben. I'm in my mid twenties, freshly out of college, and ready to take on the world. I've been reading inspirational material for some time now, including titles by Dave Ramsey, Stephen Covey, and the infamous Robert Kiyosaki.

I am a darkworker, but while self-centered, I am also generous and (according to my girlfriend) kind.

My political leanings are definitely centrist on a two-dimensional grid; I tend towards economic conservatism and social liberalism, but not so much as to be libertarian.

Spiritually I identify most closely with neopaganism. I investigated (and continue to investigate) a great variety of religious paths and do not label myself solidly.

As far as skills go, I am a talented artist and coder with a bent towards social technologies (like the Internet). I have a knack for systems analysis and design. I speak limited Japanese, German, and Spanish in addition to English. I hold a baccalaureate in history and specialize in East Asian and ancient world history. I'm an excellent technical writer but have yet to comprehend the intricacies of the art of narrative writing.

My personality, my love for variety, and my interest in money strongly suggest to me that I am an entrepreneur, though I have yet to formally incorporate a company. I am in the process of starting a company now, but do not have the funds available just yet to formalize it.

In five years I will have a leadership position in my field, own at least one company, and have six figures in savings. You can hold me to that.

Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. I hope I can contribute to some great discussions here, and I look forward to meeting all of you whether online or off.

From one skilled systems analyst and designer to another, I welcome you to the forums. I look forward to getting to know you. Many aspects of your description were like looking in a mirror.
