Default Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road....

Another turning point a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist directs you where to go
So make the best of this test and don't ask why
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time

It's something unpredictable but in the end
It's right I hope you've had the time of your life

So take the photographs and still frames in your mind

Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos and memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while

It's something unpredictable but in the end

It's right I hope you've had the time of your life

It's something unpredictable but in the end
It's right I hope you've had the time of your life

It's something unpredictable but in the end
It's right I hope you've had the time of your life

Despite the unfortunate song title, this is one of my favourite Green Day songs. I just keep thinking of it today, in light of everything that's going on here.

The video is pretty poignant. It seems to work well in this situation:

that song is very special to me. I listened it all night before I went off to college in a foreign country despite many problems i was facing. i recently graduated and came across it again. it had quite an effect on me. This time i thought of the past instead of the future. I love the line "for what it's worth it was worth all the while".
