 |  Hello from Colorado...
Where to start without it sounding like a dating advert? Lol After 17 years of an abusive marriage (physically to begin with, then emotionally), I will shortly be moving on as a single man (D finalized within 60 days). This is challenging for me as I was married at 18, never really dated, and the experiences of my failed marriage and 2 short, ill-advised, and just plain wrong relationships have left me a little jaded, cynical, and unequipped for the start of my new life. As I read some of the past threads, I'm hoping that future interactions will help me overcome my own shortcomings in how I view the opposite sex, relationships (how they are TRULY supposed to be), and hopefully begin to understand women.
