So recently I have been lots of websites of PD and for years before couldn't help seeing the occasional infomercial and what I always wonder is:

If this guy has the secret to unlimited wealth, happiness etc., why does he need my $29.95 (or $2299.)

Because they want your money, your hard earned cash for some regurgiated wisdom probably quoted from the Tao Te Ching....

I'm going to take an honest crack at answering this. First, the obvious answer: There are a lot of charlatans out there.

However, there are also some people who really believe that their life mission is helping others learn and grow -- and that is where they prefer to make their money. We all have to make a living somehow, after all.

Of course, the trick is being able to tell the difference.

So far it has been a decent rule of thumb;
If they tell you that the solution is easy and fast ---> Usually a charlatan.
If they tell you that the solution is difficult and that you should try there stuff out for YOURSELF and than decide ---> Usually the real deal.

Just a guideline.
