Hello, Everyone

I've been reading Steve's great articles for a few weeks now, after a link from another blog, and saw the forum link yesterday, so here I am with my first post and hello.

I live in Lancashire in the UK, I am 52 and happily married to Polly, who I met a few years ago.

For most of my life I have worked in retail sales, at the moment only part-time, and have always enjoyed that because I get to meet the public and really enjoy talking, and listening, to them. On occassions the opportunity to go into the admin side has arisen but that doesn't appeal the same.

As well as talking I have always appreciated the opportunity to offer advice, however small, during my chats. We all learn so much in our lives and it is a great waste that on so many occassions we don't pass this advice on.

For the last few years I have been a regular all over the web reading and learning what it is all about, and with all that is happening currently with sites like YouTube and MySpace it doesn't look like my learning is going to stop anytime soon.

I have now joined as an affiliate with some online companies to complement my offline income, and again it is great from a learning experience to improve my knowledge of what the world is all about.

I have had a look at some of the posts here and you are very knowledgeable and interesting people, and I look forward to getting to know everyone and making any useful contributions that I can.
