I've been reading Steve and Erin's content for a while and decided it was the perfect opportunity to create an account on the forums. Over the past 2-3 weeks I've been experiencing a spiritual awakening of sorts. I'm really excited to participate in the Psychic & Paranormal, Intention Manifestation, Character & Contribution and Spirituality subforums, though I'm also trying to become self employed so I'm sure others will be excellent resources as well. I don't really have anyone to discuss most of this with in real life so I'm looking forward to meeting like minded people who don't think I need to be sent to the loony bin. |

Self employed? like having your own company? You'll find a lot of awesome people in this place I think, and a lot of different views on things, I can spend a whole day just reading threads in the Psychic & Paranormal and Spirituality forums because they are so interesting! xD I think its safe to discuss pretty much anything in this place so I hope you'll have a ton of fun learning and meeting people ^^ |

I'm still in the idea phase haha But I'm consulting a career coach next week so I think that will help narrow my focus a lot. I'm also in the process of taking an e-course that deals with this topic so I think that will help as well. I'm hoping to have a plan in place by the end of this year and have something up and running by the end of January. I know at some point I will create a website because I love computers. Just gotta sort through the millions of ideas in my head first Definitely! I can see already that there are a lot of open minded people here.

I also love writing and drawing!!! I even used to play pen and paper rpg's xD I even have my own company as a freelancing illustrator, I haven't done many jobs yet but it feels great to be able to do something I love and at my own pace. So if it is something that you are interested I'd say it is totally worth trying! Do you have an account on deviantart.com? The northern lights are awesome!, sadly not very common... I live in the north so we mostly have snow here, last year it came already in october... a lot of it and roofs started to collapse. Now its almost the end of november and it haven't snowed even once yet ._. Nice to meet you btw ^^ |

Actually, posting drawings to a place like deviantart could be a great help for you to improve if you feel you still have things to learn, you can get great feedback if you ask for it, and it can also be a great boost for your confidence to hear people go crazy over how much they like your pictures I wasn't very good when I started myself, but I found a lot of great artists there who I got inspired by and now I can see improvement for every new drawing that I make :3 (there are some great tutorials there too...) Tablets are the best invention ever ._. I went and bought a Cintiq 21UX because the smaller bamboo tablet killed the drawing feeling for me and my accuracy was way off xD |

OMG did you have the Bamboo Fun? That's the one that I have and it is SO TINY (compared to the sketchbooks I usually use) I have such a hard time working on drawings sometimes because of that. But it's great for getting used to the feel and doing quick sketches.
