Default Thank you!

Hey everybody, I'm A.K.Light!

I'm glad this discussion forum has been created! My appreciation goes out to Steve, Erin, and all the moderators that are here so far. Thanks for doing this! I know that being a part of this place is going to be great!

I've been a frequent reader (and listener) of StevePavlina.com for the last six months or so. The things I have learned here have already helped me out tremendously in life. I've also been able to help other people with the things I have been learning about as well! This site has been a major contributer in getting me involved in personal development, and now that I'm into it, I'm never turning back!

After I read that the forums were already installed I figured that I'd be able to find them and get started. Who needs a link? I feel honored to be among the first. I know there's going to be A LOT of people here soon.

Here's some stuff about me:

I'm a 21 year old male from Illinois. I work full time, I live alone, I'm single, and I'm not in college. This leaves with me tons of free time, which I value very much. I'm low on obligations and high on aspirations!

I enjoy writing and performing music, reading, writing, working out, painting, playing basketball, entertaining, teaching, ect, ect... I have many hobbies and interests, and they don't always stay the same. There's only one direction I move, and that's up.

Well, that's enough for now. I'll be talking to you all later!

Welcome! I'm glad to see yet another young memeber. It's great to be free and have very little obligations isn't it?

You mention you perform music, what do you play? I play guitar myself, though I wish I could sing a lot better, I love it.

Dear Master,

Please share with us your wisdom on how to go from "I work full-time, I'm single, etc." to "I have tons of free time."

Yours Sincerely,
Grasshopper

I play guitar and sing as well. It's one of the only things I've never gotten tired of doing. I also horse around on the mandolin, ukulele, harmonica, and drums, but I'm a lot better at guitar than any of those! I mostly just play acoustic guitar. No need for cables, amps, or microphones, and acoustics sound better in my opinion.

Well, there's 168 hours in a week and I only work 40 or 45 of them. And I never sleep more than six or seven hours a night. I'm basically free to do whatever I want. It's great! No wisdom, sorry.
