Tom Johns is on a distinguished road
Default Hello Success Minded Friends

Hello Success Minded Friends:
My name is Tom Johns, and I’m from Hernando City, a small rural community in west central Florida. I’ve been “lurking” in the forum for about a week now, and have gotten some solid inspiration from it. It’s time I became a member. That way I can try to give back some of what I’ve received.
A great mentor and friend of mine tells me “Gravity is Automatic”. I’ve learned he means we have to take action against gravity if we’re going to do ANYTHING. Likewise, we need to take action and fill our heads with positive and powerful thoughts if were going to stay empowered and on task.
There are a lot of doom and gloomers these days. I’m looking for a community of success minded friends to network with. My goal is to interact with happy, confident people. I want to stay focused and positive myself, and achieve my goals. Hopefully I can come up with a good idea or two to share with the group as well.
Thank you “Personal Development for Smart People” community for being such a valuable resource. Please keep the great ideas coming in!

Respectfully Yours:

Welcome aboard Tom...

When you say, "I’ve learned he means we have to take action against gravity if we’re going to do ANYTHING." ...you hit it right on the nail...

My main mentor, Tony Robbins, goes a little further... he says, "We have to take "massive" action..." And, to explains it further... he tells us that when he decided to become a public speaker, instead of booking himself three times a week (as most people do) he would book himself three times a day... in less than a month... he was a formidable public speaker... that is the "miracle" of massive action...

Hi Shamou:
I believe I read that in “Personal Power”, an excellent book. My challenge… Not to be enough hours in a day. I know you, I, and Tony Robbins all have 24 hours in ours. It just seems a 30 hour day world be useful. Well, I guess successfully managing my 24 will work just as well
Thank you for the quotes. “The best wau to predict the future is to create it”. Way-Cool!

Thank you for the kind words... and, if you like Robbins... click on "Anthony" or "Robbins" in my signature... and you'll see some good videos...

And, about those 30 hours days... I'm still working on that...
