| Hi-my name is Arthur Hung as you can see. I've been an avid reader for most of my life and am very interested in matters of strategy and philosophy. A few of my favourite writers in no particular order include Eckhart Tolle, Marcus Aurelius, Steven Pressfield, Harvey Mackay, Ryan Clark Holiday, Friedrich Nietzsche, Robert Greene and of course, Steve Pavlina. I'm sure I've missed many greats, but off the top of my head these names come to mind. After struggling with not having polarity-darkworker and lightworker theory-for most of my life, reading that article made me realize that I was actually a very much repressed lightworker that foolishly thought that a certain conscious degree of selfishness and paranoia were necessarily prudent and ultimately practical. This negative mindset has permeated my thoughts for far too long--how very wrong I was. Like Steve, I also try out models that I don't understand or doubt, when they show to not be congruent with my current beliefs, yet seem to have real truth. An example would be a “phenomenal memory” site that I have been frequenting as of late that appears legitimate--I won't link the site because I haven't yet personally confirmed it's authenticity. After trying out his models, two beautiful occurrences have already occurred in my life-and I've only really been seriously looking over this site for about a week. Here's one of them: "I've already succeeded in using my intentions, through creative observation and total responsibility, to create a family situation that through all time perspectives in my life I would see as excellent. Thank you for that." That was part of the email that I had sent to Steve regarding an "experimental" intention suggestion. The emphasis on the word experimental here is because I truly believe in my hearts of hearts that Steve will read that email, perhaps this forum post as well and voila, follow my suggestion. If you get Steve's stuff, it really is that simple. Creative observation and total responsibility is key. Granted, there will always be the self-help junkies, the hopelessly closed minded and perhaps even some intelligent dissent here and there; at the end of the day, all three categories will come back and the later category will eventually experiment with the models and find the truth out for themselves. I'm glad to see this community of growth and enlightenment exist. I must make mention that the podcasts are really well made though honestly I have yet to come across any piece from Steve that wasn't.
