Yes, I know this is a little bit late, but, we've reached one thousand members already, and over half of them are active! Plus, we have an excellent topics to posts (1:10) ratio. Congratulations everyone on making this a flourishing and blooming community in the first few days! Now let us all put out the intention it will keep growing and staying wonderful. EDIT: And for anyone who is into that sort of thing, this is the 1,000th member. Last edited by TechnoGuyRob; 11-07-2006 at 04:51 PM. |

| Senior Member | The link http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/p...newpm&u=NUMBER Will open the page that lets you send a private message to user "NUMBER". So if NUMBER was replaced with 1000, it would be that guy, and if it was replaced with 629 (my ID) it would be me. It's not in the URL (but it is in the page) for profile views, so you have to use your head a little. That's good though. I love these forum URLs. It makes it so much more likely Google is going to index it. Seriously incredibly more likely and more often. EDIT: Those URLs are actually just there to make it easier for search engines to index them (it's done with the .htaccess Rewrite engine). Which means you can find the 500th topic like so: Code: http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/general-introductions/500-anything-you-want.html EDIT2: Same principle with the post numbers. Here is the 1000th post: Code: http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/1000-post1.html Code: http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/5000-post1.html Last edited by TechnoGuyRob; 11-08-2006 at 01:01 AM. |
