Lucas is on a distinguished road
Default My name is Lucas

As my username implies

I snuck an early registration, because I really enjoy this site and think these forums are going to be awesome.

I am fairly new to personal development. I stumbled across Steves site about 6 months or so ago, when I saw the early riser article somewhere. I read the 30 days article and tried it on my addiction to pop (or soda for the weirdos), and I havent had a lick of pop in 5 months now! Might not seem to be a big change, but I drank 2-5 cans a day. Since then I have indulged myself in a lot of these ideas. I am really intrigued by intention-manifestation, and have experienced it first hand...though I gotta stop that self doubt thing, every time I clear that away, magnificent things happen.

Anyway, thats my story. Sorry for sneaking in early, but I thought I would give the old vbulletin default url a shot

Hi Lucas! It's nice to meet you! I am an early registerer as well. Although I don't think registerer is a word. :P My husband is a moderator here (Adam on the Spirituality, Consciousness and Awareness board) so I tagged along.

You remind me a lot of my husband with your intro. He found Steve Pavlina because of the early riser article as well, and has also dabbled in giving up addictions and intention manifestation. He hasn't quite been as successful as 5 months with no soda (yes, I am a weirdo :P ) but I have definitely seen the positive changes!

So, anyway, welcome and I'm glad you are here!

Howdy all,

JohnnyJimJams here. I'm an Aussie but don't hold it against me.

After doing a web search for on "procrastination" approx 2 years ago, I read Steve's article title overcoming procrastination along with 5 other free articles. I was sold. Since then I have quit smoking (9 months now), lost 15kg, got out of debt, 12 months of sobriety (temporary goal ), am much happier, less stressed, a better father, got a raise, am now an early riser....

...and I'm just getting started.

A hearty and happy hello to all.

JohnnnyJimJams.

There are worse things you could do than joining early! Steve's early riser article was a HUGE success. Since I've been to steve's site I've brought down my anger level to a zenlike state compared to what it was in high school (yes that's only like 2 years ago). Great to meet you, Lucas! Keep up the good work staying away from SODA. xD

Nice to meet you Lucas. I think I'm about to start a 30 day no soda plan also.

I gave up soda (coke) many years ago when I learned I was seriously anemic. Apparently, soda drains all your vitamins. Now, I basically drink water. You get used to it pretty quickly. Occasionally I'll still have a soda if I'm traveling or something, but it usually seems way too sweet for me these days.
