My Life Changing Story

hey, everyone

I'm don and I've been a personal development junkie since I was born really. Everything I did was toward becoming a better at something.

I was born in Texas, but moved around alot so I had developed a love to travel. I really enjoy being around different groups of elasticities and common good folks.

I now live in San diego, California and when I was younger I only dreamed of living in such a beautiful place, and now I do... Man dreams (sometimes) come true. Sometimes because its up to you to make it happen.

But In my life I have experience a tremendous amount of turmoil. It was a battle within my self to be greater. To make since of things, to get out of my own way of success.

I poured 9 Years.... 9 Years in to tring to be "successful" in a business and I FAILED MISERABLY... But I kept getting back up... I kept saying to myself this time will be different I will do better....

When I played basket ball in middle school, I sucked... and you know how it is being young in a junior high school, Kids can be cruel... So I wanted to give up because I didn't want to deal with it....

So I told My Mom I want to give up.... So she called my Dad and told him and he said " Put Him on the Phone"... I have no Idea what he said to me... but I remember being so inspired that I would not quit...

I started practicing... I started getting better at it.... so much so that the coach started putting me in the game. We ended up Winning CHAMPIONSHIP as undefeated.

At the end of the season Year and the last day of school the Whole School went to the Stadium and gave rewards to the Basket ball team....

One by One they called Names... JOEY * EVERYONE GOLF CLAPED* THOMAS *EVERYONE GOLF CLAPPED* RICHARD * YOU GET THE POINT :-)*

So all the names were called but guess what....
My name wasn't even mentioned. The speaker had begun to move to the next thing on the program...

I was Crushed... ALL THAT HARD WORK! and I felt unrewarded and ignored... how could they forget about me... I already felt like the black sheep in the basket ball team and this just confirms my thoughts BUT... BUT

The speaker stopped himself and said very seriously
" I almost forgot something... I want to mention a young man who has displayed soo much courage, and heart in the game, he inspired the whole team as well as myself with his demeanor and hard work ethic. " HIS NAME IS DON EVANS"

And no exaggeration: THE WHOLE STADIUM OF PEOPLE STOOD UP AND APPLAUSED FOR 30 SECONDS OR SO. Even people who used to pick on me an tell me how ugly I was... stood up and applauded my COURAGE, DEMEANOR, AND HARD WORK ETHIC.

All this because my dad told me " something on the phone because I don't remember... But he inspired me to Never Give Up...

And you know he probably doesn't even remember this, but it set the tone for the REST OF MY LIFE... TO NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER QUIT DESPITE THE RESISTANCE, IN THE FACE OF FEAR, SHOW COURAGE, IN THE FACE OF MOCKERY SHOW RESERVE, IN THE FACE OF PAIN, SHOW ENDURANCE, IN THE FACE OF HOPELESSNESS, SEE THE LIGHT THAT IS ONLY IN THE NEXT STEP... NEVER QUIT.... NEVER GIVE UP.... and in this tone

I can see why I’m a strong long distance runner, why I didnt give up during my 9 years of struggle.... Now my whole family will reap the rewards of my business efforts... I have been growing a tree, that will yield fruit for all to come eat of it.

Today I'm happy to say that I love my 9 years of failure, It was the greatest gift that anyone could have given me... I have learned soo much and I'm sharing what I learned On my newest website.

But I hope I didn't talk too much I really didn't plan on sharing all this it just came out As I was typing... Hope this inspires someone who needs it.
