| Hi, everyone.... It was fun while it lasted, but this forum is just way too moderated and judgmental for a satirical comedy writer like myself. One of the sherrifs here has placed me in his "cyber stocks" and held me up for public ridicule, and that's just a wee bit too controlling for a person like me. I mean, I'm no Simon Cowell by any stretch, but neither am I one of those types that believes every kid on the team gets an MVP award lest their self-esteem lose a half a point or two. Anyway, to the newcomers, don't let my leaving keep you from checking the place out. There's lots to be learned here, and lots of really great people who are eager to help answer your questions. I'll see you at the Emmys! ~ RS |

| Good luck to you! Sorry it didn't work out, and i'm actually completely unaware of the situation. We like to keep this forum on the plus side so as to stimulate growth and the creation of good ideas. It's more a thinktank than a playground in my humble opinion. We like to have our fun too though! |

| Hi and bye RS, I guess this is about the "PATHS" thread. Before you go, I want to let you know you had some valuable points in those posts (well, just one that made an impact on me - as I don't understand all of that marketing and business structure stuff) and, once I read most of the posts there, not being affected by your over-emotionality, I did begin to think twice about it and am wondering ... Maybe I would have thought of it myself, maybe I wouldn't have, but as it is, you brought one very worrying possibility of that product to my mind which I am investigating. I have also just sent a suggestion to Steve asking him to check out the product and the thread as well, so I really hope he will do that and give some insight or some unbiased feedback about it. It's a shame you didn't manage to make your points in a more restrained and thought-out way, but don't worry - not everyone missed them - thanks. Last edited by Bitsy : 03-22-2007 at 07:49 AM. Later, man. I hope for your own benefit you can learn to better recognize your own contradictions so that you don't further sabotage yourself before you get your point across. I actually agreed with a lot of the stuff you were saying, but I was put off by the way you said it and the double standard you presented in your arguments. I wish you nothing but happiness in your life.

| I hate to see you go, Rocket. I have always found your posts to be thought provoking, challenging and often entertaining. Personally, I like it when someone pokes at my "certainties". It either causes me to reinforce my internal truth or forces a deeper consideration. Good luck to you and keep questioning -

| Quote: I'm curious why Adam's wife didn't want to know the correct spelling of the present progressive of "die" though - I learned something new from that story. I never knew there was such a verb. But that's a digression. I think you're right about that being what he is referring to.

| Sorry to see you go RS! I hated some of the things you've written, and felt lots of negativity from the way you wrote just about everything, yet I also vehemently agreed with some of what you've said. You got me thinking about things in ways that weren't obvious to me. You seem completely unafraid of stirring things up, and that's needed when it's obvious there are no dissenting views of something many would see as clearly distorted. Good luck, wherever you end up. |
