hello everyone, Just joined the forum this morning, having read some of Steve's inspirational musings over a sleep-befuddled early morning coffee. I found the website a while back when looking for info on self-discipline and that's certainly an area I need to improve in my life. I live in the countryside about 15 minutes drive from the edge of Edinburgh with my beautiful wife Annie and our dog, Alfie (a lurcher). We also keep bees and have 7 hens in our garden.I'm 59 and my wife is 48. One thing I find very frustrating is my lack of I.T. skills. I can browse the net, send an email, write a letter, and that's more or less it. I'd love to learn how to make money online, but the more I look at stuff, the more cautious I become. The internet is totally unregulated and there seem to be so many scam merchants out there. Any thoughts on this from other forum members would be appreciated. For example, there is a guuy based in Ireland called Michael Jones. I looked at one of his websites and he has been emailing me with tremendous suggestions about how to make loads of money online. The trouble is that he offers so many different things, and I would like ONE package that gives me EVERYTHING I need to be able to move forward with this. I suspect though, that if I bought one package I'd discover that quite soon I'd need to buy another, and then another, etc, etc. What do you think? Where do you start with all of this? Anyhow, I look forward to getting to know some of you in the future, and maybe we can help each other in some way. Just to underline my I.T. uselessness, I see at the end of this panel I'm typing in a box titled "tags", which tells me, "separate tags using a comma" I've no idea what this means! Doh! |
