Hi. This is the 2nd forum I've joined. First one was a HepC support-group forum, but I don't remember the name of it, and have lost the bookmark sadly enough. I found this website/forum via searching about Hep C and Chemotheropy and was wondering if anyone has heard of any new treatments for the virus & their views on the treatment, should there be any. I did read a few posts but none mentioned anything other than what I've already taken. I underwent two years of three different types of Chemotheropy which were Peg Interferon Alpha 2a & 2b, Pegasis, w/ Ribaverin(sp?) each time. (not in that order though-and the last of which I was taking on a daily basis) My doctors told me it didn't work and to stop taking it until something new came out. I haven't been back to the specialist as I've found that taking things over the counter such as Milk Thistle, Omega 3 Fish Oils, 1000mg Vitamin E, a well balanced diet & staying away from sodium has helped me considerably, but still I was a bit curious.
