The site doesn't have an option to delete or cancel an account, but you can change your e-mail address in your account through your User CP. Send me a private message if you need some assistance.

It might be worth changing that. It can only be an option in the use of vBulletin. It seems only respectful to allow the cancelation of an account by a member, perhaps someone addicted to the place who doesn't want to keep coming back, or someone who no longer wishes to be associated with the place. Such a person might only have recourse to misbehaving until they get banned, which would not be ideal.

I wouldn't be surprised if members have the legal right to require the forum to remove their details upon request. Of course, their posted materials are a different matter, and the agreement states that they will remain. Is there a place to raise issues like this?

John, several people have requested and received a voluntary ban, which they leave the door open for coming back if they want to. Some people ask the mods to enforce a no-post ban period, like werewolves.
