I live in the state of Connecticut in the United States. I travel regularly to Oakland, California, and Virginia Beach, Virginia. I'm looking to visit Seattle, WA; and the countries of Iceland and Ireland in 2010.

I've been reading Steve's Blog for a few months; it's a common topic of discussion for me and the person who referred me here.

Newly arrived

From outside Wellington in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.

Also "newly" retired Primary School Principal - officially since January 2009 - did a stint as an Inspector of schhools - the official title here is Institutional Management and Governance Advisor - Phew!!! - for 3 months.

All this after 31 years as a teacher.

So there!!
