Hi,

My name is Dan. My mind has dominated my life for the past 8 years or so, reducing the voice of my heart to a faint whisper. My mind has brought me truth, knowledge and discovery. But I have come to find that none of that means anything if I can't follow my heart.

I am here to learn and share on my journey to reconnect with my heart. I have several obstacles to overcome. The good news is they are clear and well known, but I'm not quite ready to face them head on.

Steve, your writing has helped a lot. Thank you so much.

As for what I do, I am now working as a freelance photographer. I enjoy creative projects/collaborations and teaching what I know to the willing and eager to learn.

I speak, read and almost write Japanese. I am getting a bit rusty with it, but enjoy it nonetheless. I also enjoy Japanese calligraphy and many aspects of Japanese culture.

I'm very happy to connect with like-minded people in a place where growth is encouraged.
