Default Greetings from Shenandoah

I am new to this forum, though am familiar with v-bulletin formats. I hope to learn much here, meet some good people, and share as I am able.
I am a self-employed carpenter, originally from Los Angeles, now living in the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, USA. I have no problem with sharing that I am an alcoholic in (successful) recovery, approaching my 2-year mark. I play flute and keyboards, enjoy painting, and am also a writer. I moderate a board on a small forum where many of my essays are available, most deal with spirituality and Lightworker exchanges. It was Lightworker information that brought me to this forum..."darkworker" to be exact. I liked what I read there, and decided to stay.

I could sound very tabloid if I posted all my interests, but I assure you I avoid the mainstream. I practice Feng Shui with tangible knowledge (though always learning) and have done much study regarding Indigo Children, myself being an adult Indigo Child.

At present, my home forum is enduring much discontent, so if you decide to visit it, be prepared for some turbulence. I have decided to stay off that forum for now. But you can Google the site and see my work if you wish; Halfway.oceanfalls.org* and my board is "Eternity Workshop". You will see I am 'royster' there, too. I hope Steve doesn't mind that I copy-and-pasted the article about darkworkers; I found it to be a balancing view.

Thanks for having me here. royster

I hope that is not considered 'spam'.

The place you come from made me open up your post in the first place. Some memory flashed when I read 'Shenandoah'.
Nevertheless, welcome to the forums! Hope you have a great, informative time here!

I so love the Shanandoah area. Last March I brought my son and we spent a few days and nights on the AT. I spent many years in Charlottesville which is another part of that area I love.
