Hi hi, I want to make new friends who I can learn from and collaborate with. I don't have many friends right now that share my goals / interests, nor can they help me with my growth and stuff. They're basically just people who are into things that regular teenagers are: games, TV shows, entrainment; There's nothing wrong with that, I just want to meet people who are more compatible and similar to me. Here are some facts: I'm still a teenager: 16 years old. I live in the U.S., Texas to be specific. I think of myself as an introvert, though I try not to label myself. I'm into personal development, but not all the time. Only when I feel like growing. I don't think it's too late for me to start improving. I'm very tech-savvy. I like to create things very much, especially things of value. I get a good feeling when I create something that is unique, or something that regular people can't create. I like to create websites and artwork. I mainly like to draw. Right now, I have ambitions to make a journalism blog so I can get better at writing, and through that communicating and connecting with other people with my words. After that, I'll start an art blog where I'll use my innovation skills to draw readers using techniques that other people wish they have thought of. One of my biggest problems is pacing myself. I can't stand spending days on a project. It must be completed on the same day. I need to plan for the long term better. I am an enneagram type four. 4 - Enneagram Type Four: The Individualist I'm into anime and manga. Especially Japanese music. I'm not much of an otaku, but I'm still very much into it. I like computers. A few weeks ago I built my own system. It was a very difficult project and I worked for 5 hours to build it, even though I could have just taken a break and spent 2 days on it. As a result my hands were in pain through most of the night and the next day, but it was still worth it. I consider this one of my most favored achievements. I want to find new ways to improve myself in multiple areas. Mainly personality, becoming more interesting, having more insight in things, and basically being able to impress/improve people. I also want to write better and I desire the power to influence people with either wit or intellect. With that, if you think that we are compatible, contact me.

Ok, first of all, I'm not new. As you can see I'm a senior member, I joined almost a year ago, and I have over 100 posts. I'm kind of disappointed that no one has replied to this topic. I guess no one is similar to me.

Oh i think there are lots of people here who share your interest. they just might not have seen this thread. I think one of the easiest ways to make friends here is to post, and send people PMs. I have made lots of people from just sending someone a PM when they said something i was interested in. I like alot of the same things you like except I am not a big manga fan and anime fan. I know alot about it (fruits baskets, cowboy bebop, ghost in the shell, etc, etc, etc) since alot of my friend are into it. Adrienne |
