Another Las Vegan !!

Greetings everyone. Like a few others in this thread, I too live in Las Vegas (closer to Henderson). I moved here four years ago from Montana, where I spent 16 years. I'm originally from the Midwest (Wisconsin and Michigan). I moved around quite a bit after college because I worked in TV and radio news, and broadcasters are a pretty mobile bunch.

I also owned and operated a video production company in Montana for 11 years. My company produced everything from commercials and PSA's to full-length, original TV shows, including Montana's first weekly comedy show and first real estate show. For a few years, I wrote a humor column that was published in MT and NV -- sort of a poor man's Dave Barry.

Education-wise, I got my BA in Communication Arts from Oakland University, and my MBA from University of Phoenix. I'm hoping the MBA will help me get a part time teaching job at a local college or university.

For the last 2 1/2 years I have worked in public relations. I am fortunate to have a great job and work with some very talented -- and fun -- people.

I'm newly single, having gotten a divorce last October after 10 years of marriage. I have two young children whom I see every other week.

I enjoy movies (particularly action/adventure, sci-fi and comedy); music, especially baby-boomer era rock-n-roll (everything from the Beatles to the Moody Blues & Chicago); running; water-skiing; snow-skiing; and being with friends.

People remember me for my sense of humor and my height -- I'm six foot six. Plus, some people find it interesting that I went to jr. high and high school with Madonna. (We used to serve lemonade together at Student Council dances.) However, the rumors about her having my love-child are totally false.

I am originally from the Midwest too (Indiana..born in Michigan)...then decided to pack up my game and head out west!

Four of my friends followed to leave the cold weather behind too. One of buddies has a wife from Butte, Montana. We took a long road trip up there last summer....pretty nice....did some fishing...relaxied it was nice and quiet.

So what part of Montana are you from?
