Default Baby steps into personal growth

Hi my name is Amanda. New to forums and the internet in general. Hope I'm doing this right, if I'm not please don't be offended, just let me know.
I live in Melbourne, Australia and am a mum of three boys. I run a small business from home and love not having to do shift work anymore.
I have bi-polar and let it control my life for a long time, now I'm regaining some control hence the baby steps. I've started by taking some courses and trying to change my thought pattern from negative to postive, its a hard and slow process but I'm getting there.
A friend recommonded this forum so I'm hoping to have some fun and meet some new people while I'm here. I've already read some very interesting things that people are posting about and alot of things I've never heard of, but thats why I'm here to grow as a person and learn.
