Exclamation More than you would ever want to know about Scott

Hello, Howdy, Hi, Hola, Bonjour, Greetings, and Wazzup homie g-dawg skillet. (<== I promise never to talk like that again. )
Let's face it; introductions can be boring, so I've elected to put mine in... *drumroll please*... bullet points!

I am...
-21 years old
-A student at a prestigious school in St. Louis
-Not a Cardinals fan... just to get that out of the way
-A Myers-Briggs INtP (lowercase t is intentional)
-A smartass, and proud of it!
-Very concerned about the state of the U.S. and the world
-Not a polyphasic sleeper, but wish I was
-Not married, engaged, or even dating anyone, and wondering why Steve picked me to moderate the Social & Relationships forum.
-NOT using the above statement as a personal ad... just so ya know
-An avid fan of anyone with an open mind
-An avid fan of anyone who uses Linux (and a Linux user myself)
-Anti-consumerist
-Anti-oligarchist
-Anti-let's-go-to-war-without-using-our-brains-to-think-about-what-the-consequences-might-be (but it's probably too soon for political talk)
-Poor... probably because of college
-Feeling tugged between multiple positions regarding religion and spirituality
-Long-winded when I really want to be... but that time is not now.

It's never too soon for political talk. :P

Nice to meet ya Scott. It already sounds like we are going to have a lot in common!

At this rate Steve is going to have to make a politics forum. And I'm also an INTP, and I'm fairly sure I saw someone mention INTJ around here somewhere.

Might you think that's a rationalization? Are there any products or services you might be able to offer your college community? How about the surrounding area? You can make a lot more than a minimum wage job with a little bit of consistent effort, even as a college student! I know! I am one!

Services, yes - I work as a computer/TV technician for all students in residential housing. I make significantly more than minimum wage, but that doesn't help the fact that college is really really expensive.

You do bring up a good point, though. Entrepreneurship is definitely one of my goals; I'd even go so far as to say it's a dream, but I don't feel that I have the knowledge or skills right now to launch a start-up. Maybe some of you can teach me a thing or two.

I didn't feel like I did either, but I have this 19 year old invicible attitude that I could do whatever I want. So I called a friend that worked in my clocal chamber of commerce, made a few hookups, went to some small business seminars, talked with a few people and was on my way. I'm be more than happy to share what I've learned.

We'd be more than happy to listen, I'm sure. Why don't you start up a thread in the business section?!
