Default A Novice at Best

...with this particular sort of thing.
I thoroughly enjoyed Steve's piece on getting away from 'Christianity'...as its been dragging me down since I was a kid, only I had to get my mind wrapped around the fact that it was okay to tell people, "NO, as a matter of fact, I'm not a Christian...but I do believe Jesus knew what the hell he was doing..."
My family was devoutly Catholic, and I have a brother who is priest (and a great one at that), but I left it behind long ago.
I simply try to stay connected to 'the universe' and not get pulled back down into the muck and mire that we are so easily pulled in to as humans.

I keep asking for what I want, and the powers that be take good care of me.

hey mizellie,
welcome to the forum.
I am afraid I have no knowledge about Christianity, except what I could gather from movies, books or friends. But i have always found quotations from Bible interesting, one day I plan to read it.
