Default Greeting from Germany

Hi everyone!

I'm 33 and I work in public administration.

I stumbled across Steve's blog a few months ago when googling for tips on Getting Things Done. I still haven't implemented GTD, but Steve's posts and podcasts have already encouraged me to improve my diet, take up running again and join Toastmasters.

Although I enjoy my job very much (well, most of the time) I'm unsure of whether that line of work is the right thing for me - or rather, of what my real purpose in life is.

At the moment I feel that my life is a complete mess. So I decided first to focus on the more obvious, outward things to change (like getting rid of the clutter on my desk, eating healthier food etc.). And to keep my eyes and ears open for people and ideas that may give me a clearer notion of what I want to do with my life.

So I think it's great that the forums now offer a place to meet so many people who have set out to improve things in their life and who do know their purpose - I'm looking forward to getting to know you!

Vic

Hey there.

I see alot of people mention GTD. I wasn't sure what that acronym was, but I get it now.

It is a great forum, isn't it.

Welcome

annie

It's a good book, actually - nice to read and full of good advice. Only it takes a lot of persistency and energy to implement ...

Cool

Rangadangdang....

Hi,

I am a reader of Steve's blog too and I am from Germany as well.

Moreover I am a fan of gtd.
It is not that hard to implement imo. I took some days off work and started to collect all my stuff and fortunately I found gtd-php (application for gtd). It was a perfect solution for me due to the fact that I am somewhat nerdish :-) .

If you think I could help you then do not hesitate to send me a pm.
Anyway I guess here is a great place to ask others as well :-).

I am so curious to see how this forum turns out.

So far
Have fun!

Regards
J

So viele Germans in diesem Board. (me, too)

I found Steve´s site looking for links how to monetize blogs.
Pure chance.
