There is a troll damaging people's reputations

Someone put a comment, "Very lame post, as always." in the place where you can comment. It's not even that I made a bad post at all, it was just some troll messing with my rep points. I find it to be extremely insulting for someone like me who is trying to help people here. I lost rep points because of this person. I don't know who it is, but I would sure like to know.

I've been posting on here since the beginning and have helped countless people and I don't deserve this type of treatment. Who did this?

I just feel that if people are willing to make a damaging statement like that, we should know who they are.

What's a rep point? If this was a troll, isn't there some a mod can do to adjust?

I wouldn't assume that just because someone leaves you negative feedback that they are a troll.

They could have had any number of issues or concerns with your posting style or the content of your posts and simply not had the time or space to elaborate.

you shouldn't let these things get to you. this is a public forum and not everyone of us agree on the same things. :3..

I went ahead and deleted the comment from your profile (although the point thingy can not be changed). The person who wrote the comment is not a troll, but a regular user. We've talked to that person and they've agreed what they wrote was too harsh and very poorly worded. We can't tell you who it was because anonymous comments are kept anonymous unless that person reveals themselves.

As for the reputation points, they are really meaningless on this forum. I'm not even sure how the point system works myself. Your reputation comes from who you are and from your writings, not your points you know?

I have to agree you've contributed a great deal on this forum. Please don't let one person's poorly worded comment affect your meaningful contribution on this forum.
