Hi everyone

I first discovered Steve's blog a while ago but have only just now signed up to the forum - it seems like a great community which I guess I'm not surprised about!

I am currently still in full-time employment but I agree with Steve that it is
an enormous financial and emotional blight on my life. And my job is a good one that I've even enjoyed at times, so I've been lucky.

I'm currently exiting one traditional business and starting another based on my true life passion, helping coaches and complementary therapists use the internet for their business marketing, especially via blogging.

Steve has been an inspiration already to me to focus exclusively on adding value before expecting anything in return. This is surely a lesson for everyone in life. Give and thou shalt receive...

I also am fascinated by the metacognitive benefits of blogging as Seth Godin puts it - and would love to hear more about this from Steve if possible.

In my current job I'm lucky enough to have helped children benefit from this process tremendously. Now I want to do the same for adults!
