| Hi, I'm Stuart, 21, from Victoria, BC, Canada. I'm a student, in my fourth (of five) year of a political science degree. I really love learning and occasionally I get some learning done through school, but mostly I do it on my own time. And I will be moderating the Fun and Recreation sub-forum. A little about me; I love reading, just about anything well written, but my current favorite is neil gaiman. I play on a few soccer (football) teams, ski as much as possible and I can cook a really awesome plate of pasta. I watch way too many movies, my favorite music genre is probably jazz, (but I could never pick a favorite band) and I'm determined to be self-employed, although I have only faint ideas on how I'm going to accomplish this. And for Halloween I was a bank robber. As for the fun and recreation, BC is a very fun, relaxed, recreational place and having grown up here I think I have absorbed that atmosphere; so I should be a good fit for that forum. I look forward to meeting all of you. |

We're going to get to talk about - your self employment and what you want from it CANADA. You can help me decide whether or not i'd like to live there, where a good place to buy a four to six unit apartment building would be, and other stuff about Canada. reading - I love it, you love it, we all love it. Just imagine what an awesome group of members we're going to have... Last edited by Dave Kaminski : 11-02-2006 at 03:04 AM. Reason: I had the quote on the bottom xD |

| Haha, well the easy one first, Canada is just plain awesome. I much prefer the west coast where I am, the stereotype is that its more relaxed, laid back, etc.. and I think its generally true, but I'm kind of biased. But Canada is big enough that there is something for just about everyone, depending on what you're looking for; whether its a cold, desolate, mosquito infested wasteland or a renowned cultural hub. And I don't know the first thing about real estate, but BC is growing pretty quickly economically speaking at the moment, so thats where I would suggest, but again, I'm biased. As for reading and self employment, I'm sure we will have plenty of opportunities to discuss those two on here with lots of people in the near future |

| Stu, I've always been curious, what exactly is political science all about?

| Stu: The quip about being a bank robber for Halloween made me laugh, so I like you. I also really LOVE BC. My wife and I have make BC our new "4th of July" tradition. Don't get me wrong, I still love the states, but I've had enough fireworks, BBQ, and traffic for this lifetime. I hope to get to know more about you and BC. |
