| Hi everyone, I just kind of stumbled across this place a few weeks ago. I haven't been very happy with my present path and have been doing a lot of soul searching lately. The irony is, I thought there was no way I would be unhappy with the path I chose. I'm presently dedicating a year of my life to a certain kind of volunteering (I don't want to get myself in too much trouble...so I'll leave it at that). It is not that I don't feel a desire to serve, I simply don't think that I'm serving the best way that I can. I feel a desire to be out and about, getting things done, working my butt off....and I'm not getting that. So, in thinking about moving on, and looking at different possibilities and ideas on the internet, I found Steve's website. I've read a lot of really interesting, inspiring, and eye opening things. So much so, it drove me to pick up his book. Now I figured why not join in on the forums. So here I am. In general, I just want to grow as a person, and so far, I haven't really figured that one out. Through things like this, I think/hope it's a start. As for a few things about me....lets see: I love swimming to the point of I don't even think of it as exercise. I'm a huge hockey fan, and no I don't watch for the fights For now, I guess that's about it....so once again: Hello everyone! |

That path stuff though...it's a work in progress. I tried Steve's "discover your life's purpose in about 20 min" and it did what he said it would. After about 20 min of writing stuff, I put down something that made me cry. What I wrote has nothing to do with what I'm doing now |

| The only light beer I drink is Corona. During warm weather I like to drink Mexican beer, particularly Modelo Especial. When its cooler, as its getting to be here in Atlanta, I prefer Guinness. However I only really like it from a tap, the cans with the little 'foaming' mechanism just don't do it for me. Wish Guinness would figure out how to recreate their draught taste better for the home market. |

| Let's see if I remember the name right, I think it's Bohemia. That one is my favorite Mexican beer. I don't think it's as common as some of the others, but I like it. Guinness on draught is best. The bottles definitely don't cut it, the cans get closer, but that still can't match the tap. Yeah, I don't know if it's possible, but I wish they could figure out how to translate that to the home market better too. I love the beer seasonals though. It seems like as it gets colder, the beer gets "piny-er". I don't know what kind of hops some of them brewers use, but I swear, some of those beers start tasting like you have a mouthful of pine needles. To some people that might be a bad thing, but I love it! |
