Default Greetings from Belgium

Hi all,

I found the StevePavlina.com website by accident and I do like most of the subjects.
I especially like the fact that this is not one of those vague websites, personal development guruīs who say that you can live on love alone... and in the mean time make tons of money from innocent stupid people..

I am sure that Steve makes enough money on stupid people, but at least he is honest about it

Anyway.. a bit more about me..

I am from the Netherlands, living in Belgium after having lived in Mexico for 3 years, where I have met my husband.

I used to be completely mental (panic attacks, super shy, depressed etc), but my husband helped me become better.

I am still not normal.. but who wants to be normal anyway?? ;-)

I like my work (sales), I want to make a lot of money, I love my husband, and I like to discuss other peoples problems (and sometimes my own).
Sometimes just for the fun of it, the type of "what if" discussions, and discussions about religion and opinions that donīt have a "right or wrong".

Sometimes really because I feel that from an outside perspective, a European/Dutch perspective I can really be of help of other people.

Last, I am here to learn to improve myself. First to learn more self discipline and then to do the rest of the stuff that is handy if you want to be filthy rich.. :-)

Any questions or comments, donīt be shy!

Sandra

Hi Sandra, welcome to the forums!
I'm sure you will find many supportive people here, just as I have.
Thank you for sharing a part of your story, it is always interesting.
Belgium is a nice place, I think. Do you like to live in Belgium, compared to the Netherlands?

tnx for the welcome.

I actually like living in Belgium for now. It is something different. I like to experience different things, live in different places.. i wonder where Iīll go next

Although we are neighbors, the Netherlands and Belgium are 2 complete different countries... Sometimes it seems as if Belgium is 20 years behind on the Netherlands, both social and economically.

The most amazing thing about this country? The economy is falling down, everybody is in crisis, we have no real government at the moment.. and the unions decide to call a strike in order to "improve buying power".
As if working less and screaming at the (not existing) government will get you more money to buy what you want...

And most people follow them...

Bye bye..

To improve buying power?
That's an interesting take, haven't heard about that before.
What would be the "dutch" perspective on that?

Welcome in Belgium ssandra !!

I'm a Belgian guy by the way.

About the Union strikes. It's really awfull, they do this all the time. Last Christmas and New Years eve/day the largest part of the public transportation system decided that this would be a good time to call a strike. I was on my way to my girlfriend on christmas, not knowing if I would get there, of if I was going to have to celebrate on my own in an empty train station :-D

Luckely we also have a lot of good things in our country...

Hope you enjoy your further stay in our country!

I love the Netherlands btw! I live 10 KM from Hulst, a very nice place!
