OrangeLady is on a distinguished road
Default Hi!

Hello, Everyone!
Just signed up for the forums tonight out of curiosity. I've been reading both Steve and Erin's blogs for a while now, and finally decided to step up and see if I could find out the answers to some of my questions.

I will soon be 25, and am trying not to be complacent in my life. I have often been curious about higher/different spirituality, and I finally think I am in a place where I can not only explore, but accept, further knowledge.

I am also interested in all areas of art, as well as writing. I can be simultaneously six years old with the wisdom of a sage. My mother calls me "Job", because I was born with an unequaled amount of patience. Children and animals are constantly drawn towards me. I don't watch television, but would keel over without a good, working radio. I sleep best when it's raining outside. And I have secret plots to build the most awesome treehouse ever viva la my side of the mountain. Three women whom I would love to have met are: Marilyn Monroe, Janis Joplin, and Madeleine L'engle.

Thanks for everything- have some fun, and love much!

OrangeLady is on a distinguished road
Default Hi, again!

Hello and Thanks!

The name OrangeLady came about from a self-portrait I painted when I was about 16 or so. It consisted of only oranges, reds, and yellows and somehow it soothes and excites me all at once. The first time my best friend saw it she said, "Oh! I love your, your, orange....lady!" And thus the nickname. Which has turned more and more into a life style after time, but I'm still attached to it.

love much!
