Talking Hello from an Arizona newbie

Hi everyone! I live in Arizona, about 100 miles North of Phoenix. Right this minute 11:35 AM, we are having a bit of a downpour and it is quite lovely. It brought me inside as I was doing a "put off" chore outside. So now I get to evaluate why it is that my chore will once again have to wait, but not by my choice. Perhaps I was meant to come here.

Hi Joanne, welcome aboard!

Did you know San Francisco never gets a hard rain?

Shortly after I moved here I was at work one day and several employees gathered around the windows in the conference room. They pointed outside and spoke in hushed tones, "It's really coming out out there, man.."

It was somewhere between a drizzle and a soft rain. Cracked me up.

A few of them I don't think have ever seen a real storm..
