I'm 49, 50 in July and still have heaps of things I haven't done yet. I graduated with a degree in Education last year so can knock that off my list. Learnt that the more you know, the more you realise how little you know. My kids are 26, 24, 21 & 11 and I feel like I've been parenting my entire adult life..oh s...!! I have. Is time for me now. Why do you think the curve is so skewed? Is it because as soon as people cross the magic age of 23 a large no of them, loose their interest in personal development? And why do you think there are so few people in the 0-18 group. Its really very small, remembering the fact that the number of people in that age group is distributed over a 18 year interval. |

| I am going to wax esoteric and comment that the body we occupy ages, the mind and spirit are ageless and timeless. As Marcus Aurelius once said " We are what our thoughts make us" or as a dear friend once said, "we are only as old as what is in us, thus all women should date younger men" |

I am always young at heart, so age is just a number. It doesn't really mean much as long as we are happy, we enjoy each day, we are grateful with what we have ... Live a life that is abundance.

26 going on 27 in my mind i try not to change how i react to adult life. i still jokes and behave like a college student but with a lot less sarcastic and less loud. To me adult life is so full of border that binds me and boring too |

I am 63. Three times the age of some members. Lots of life experience and knowledge but inside my head doesn't feel much different than when I was 25. I feel I must establish credibility on who I am and what I know, related somewhat to experience, rather than age. So -------? Interfire PS: I am Canadian, live on the west coast of Norway, married a younger Norwegian woman of a mere 52 years, we have 6 young adults between us. My 2 live in Vancouver, |

I think it's great to have people of all ages coming in to talk. Hopefully we can bridge the generation gap even closer and learn from different experiences. _________________________________________________ Life can be fulfilling if you have a positive attitude and right mindset. I'm in the older category at 53 this coming birthday. As someone said earlier those over 35 grew up without living in an internet age, so they probably still have a more offline mentality. My wife does very little on the computer and wonders what I am on about when I talk about blogging. I got my first computer in the 80s, a MacPlus, but didn't really get into computers again properly until 2003 and it is only when you make that transition from being completely offline in all your thinking to how the world works online that you begin to appreciate just much has changed. And I think we have only scratched the surface so far. Peter. |

Most of my life I have felt that I have always been "too young". Now I realize that I'm not and I'm one of the older crowd at 30. Where did my 20's go? Seriously though, I never put much thought into personal development until very recently when I had an opportunity to take time out and reflect.
