At 43, doesn't that make me one of the very oldest...ok, maybe the GREAT-Grandma! I've only been addicted to 2 forums in my life. Switchfoot about 3 years ago....(very young crowd over there!) and Derek Webb...Crazy religious board...but oh-so-fun |

Most people my age I meet are in the college, drinking, drugs, getting laid, etc part of life who have zero interest in anything else. I am very excited to see so many people my age and all ages taking an interest in PD.

Usually when I go to conferences on personal development, investing, etc, I'm relatively young. People are always saying, "I admire you getting an early start!" which is a tremendous ego boost. Looks like I'm a pretty typical Pavlini, though. These 15-year-olds make me feel like a slow bloomer. In my defense, when I was 15, there was no such thing as a personal development blog. |

I'm 23. Its cool that young people are getting into this kind of thing. I think it shows that young people are demanding more from life and are willing to search for the best ways to live a good life. It is a postive sign of change to me. Society wll become more empowered to make things better. Demk |

23 also, and find it very encouraging to see people this young being interested in something other than getting drunk and watching crap television! This is one of the ways the internet is changing things, allowing people to take a short cut in elevating their perspective above social conditioning |

Hi, I'm 52 - adding to the age diversity. I'm really surprised not to see more oldsters here. But I think we can all learn from each other, regardless of our ages. I've been interested in personal growth and learning all my life. And, unlike Steve, it took me three colleges, three changes in majors, and 32 years to finish college. Faith |

I think it is great that so far the demographic is young. I wish I had started into personal development a lot earlier, however it might not have been as interesting a ride as it has been if i did so I accept where i am at, at 48.

I'm encouraged to see other "oldsters" here. I just happened on the blog via a google search on the Lazy Millionaire book that he reviewed, and have been reading the blog almost daily since.

Well, I have 4 more years to go. Hopefully when I'm 35 (I'm 31 this year), I'll have touched many more lives and helped them in their love, relationships and marriage. Cheers,

27 (I prefer it as 1B, then it looks smaller), seems somewhat median Hair fell out when I was 19, so i'm only 8PH (post hair). The other trick is rounding it to nearest number of ice ages. Then it's still 0 (and will hopefully remain so...) Looking forward to growing old with the rest of you |

Wow reading this is really quite amazing I'm 53, yah 53, not 35 or 15 or 31 or 13-- I did hit the right keys! What I'm amazed about is the low numbers of 'baby boomers' who have either logged on to this thread and put up their age or posted in Greg's poll. Being in the 50's I can tell you is a lot like being in the 20's. You've got a lot done and there's still a lot ahead ! One thing that strikes me is that we have a situation here in which what someone communicates is what's heard, not through a filter of categorization by age, race, nationality or anything else. Just what's said straight ahead. How wonderful ! I know that I can learn as much from another person no matter what their age. I think I'm even pretty good at that when I can see them Have you had a look under local groups how many different nationalities are already represented? guess that's why it's called the world wide web, look at how quickly this happens when it's made easy logistically... more ahead! |

I'm 26! I found Steve's site through the book Mind Performance Hacks, I think on the "hack" about sleep. This was earlier this year when the company I work for decided to try and outsource us! What a blessing in disguise! I had a lot of downtime so my personal development really went into fast forward this year. I read most of Steve's posts and then started on some of the recommended books, etc. I had already been very interested in personal development but that got a huge boost having had to re-examine some things in my life. Since I seem to exist in a minority being interested in personal development at my age (or any age?) I'm very excited to be able to interact with other like minded people on this forum! I'm very happy to meet everyone! Brendon |

I don't know why I expected the audience here to be in their late 20s and 30s. I'm 26 myself. I wonder if the youth of the audience is more a product of the format (a blog) or of the age of people generally interested in personal growth?
