| An acquaintance recommended this web site. It looks interesting, but have not seen much of it yet. I have a strong interest in people and psychology, e.g., Jung, Maslow, May, Erikson, family systems, and authors like Hesse, Steinbeck, Kerouac, Hemingway, Fowles, and children's books, e.g. Many others. My parents messed me up to a degree (like the rest of the kids in the neighbourhood were messed up, but parents all did the best they could, with a huge lack of knowledge). In psych courses, I tell students that we typically spend more time teaching teens how to drive, than we do on parenting skills. It was, and is, still true, except for students in early childhood education, etc. I'd really like to have some ongoing conversations with people who share similar interests. Regards, fromtheashes |

| Hey fromtheashes, thanks for joining! I've been reading a bit on Gestalt therapy lately -- have you heard of that?
