| Hi. I don't know how I found Personal Development for smart People. Probably if I concentrate real hard, I can back track...OH WAIT! All the sudden I remember! I had this feeling I need to be keeping a journal to sort of get all the trash out of my head by writing it down. "They" say that can be really helpful when life sucks and you're overwhelmed (or even when it doesn't suck but you're trying to accomplish something and it gets to be overwhelming). So I googled Journal, and look what I found. Personal Development for Smart People! Two things hooked me right up front. First: Q. "How do you know if you're smart?" A. "If you have ask, you aren't." LOL. And second, "Motivation for Smart People (Sans Chest Pounding)." This one particularly spoke to me because I just can't get myself to believe daily affirmations no matter how well they're worded. I have to know WHY about everything. I don't need Proof so much as I need Evidence. I think I'm seeing that here. |

| Hey jenlili, thanks for joining! Same here with the chest pounding. My enthusiasm comes from knowing I'm on the right path at the core, not from some temporary slight of hand or affirmation. Enjoy the forums!
