| About 6 months ago something sparked me to search for some more purpose and self improvement, which eventually led me here. I had no reliable internet/computer situation until recently, however, so I never registered until today. My main interest at the moment is trying to improve myself in a variety of ways. I like (and hate) computers, mountain biking, learning, reading, and I'm sure there's more that I can't think of at the moment. I think I'll leave my neurosis out of this particular thread, but if you're so inclined, I'm sure you can find a rant of mine in the near future. For here I'll just say hi. |

| LOL. That reminds me of a old co-dependency joke.. "I hate you! Leave me alone!... Wait, where are you going?!" I understand the love/hate relationship with computers. Do you work with them for a living? 'Cus it doesn't get any better if you do.

| I had planned on it. I have a degree in computer graphics from college, but I developed an RSI which led me to drop those plans. I tend to think it just means I was going down the wrong path. I don't miss computer graphics at all. I have since gone back to school for an engineering degree (in process) and I enjoy it much more. Unfortunately the RSI is still hanging around. I think I've developed some sort of twisted emotional connection with it that I'm working on. |
