I prefer to solve problems with sniper rifle, rocket launcher, artillery, bows, crossbows and great magic spells. I don't want my problems to know what hit them.

I really don't like close combat. I tend to do very badly in tight situations. When my problem has spotted me I need to run and hide. My reaction times are extremely slow since my brain is processing the big picture and leaves no resources for sudden events.

We've been speaking of Intuitive Archetypes in this thread, and they won't match up neatly with any list you'll find in a book or on the Internet. There are limitless archetypes, just as there are limitless dream symbols.

You can get a good starting point, though, by doing a search on Jung+archetypes and also searching the various representations of different Tarot decks. There are so many different kinds of decks, and the creators of the different decks will have their own approach to how they name and interpret their archetypal symbols, so look for an artist whose images inspire you. You might want to actually look at the individual cards (you can do that online) in a deck that you like, and meditate on what arises for you intuitively out of the symbol before you read what the creator distinguishes as the "meaning" of that image.

And there are lots and lots and lots of other lists of symbols that different folks call archetypal. You could be researching for awhile, Scholar!

Great! An interesting post, finally! Maybe it could help me to remove my disappointment about the forums and to correct my distorted view of them...

Angela, I kindly ask you to guess my type. As for my intuition, first it told me - hey, I could be a warrior too! Then - no, I prefer to do things in more serene, peaceful and wise way. So, I am the Druid. The mage who uses the laws and lore of Nature. I love Nature, can't live without it. Then - an Elven Ranger, who explores the wilderness. And finally - a Necromancer on the black horse with fiery eyes (sad but true... sometimes I hear seducing voices of my dark side...)

So, I think - I'm a Shapeshifter. I change constantly, as you see. It is very hard to find my purpose for me, as I can't see a solid core inside of me.

Angela and everyone - please comment my words. I really need an encouragement to participate in forums again. Thank you.

Hello, Kazeko. The symbol I see for you right now is The Beast.

I've been allowing Playlife to stew in my archetype pot for awhile, because for some reason he is slippery, like a bar of soap in the shower. My image is The Imp, and the story of The Imp is forming for me more slowly than these other images have.

I think now that I am getting a glimpse of why that is. Rose, you are part of Playlife's archetype; that is, your symbol is mixed up with his and it's twisting my head a bit, so I'm just letting it come when it will. The two of you are definitely up to something together Here.

Also, the slipperiness of The Imp has me wanting to approach it cautiously. There's a certain prickliness, like a hedgehog with the power to shoot spines and sparks, that has me wanting to tame him with gentleness and a little distance. Hmmm. And Rose, I see you standing next to him like Red Sonja, protecting something sacred about the Imp. There is a vulnerability that you feel compelled to honor and safeguard, because it lives in you, too.

Interesting, that when I played WoW last time, I created a new character - feral druid, who is a natural shapeshifter (opposed to balance druid, who is a spellcaster - my very first char). And I spent most of my game time in cat and bear forms.

And yesterday, when I asked about my archetype, I perceived yet another image - a Werewolf, which I didn't told by some reason. (By the way, in high school, they called me "a lonely wolf").

So, how to connect to humanity? People are cruel sometimes, and the response, that seems so natural - is to rip them with panther claws. And yes, people are afraid of my power and, sometimes, untamed "wild mood swings".

No, that may be the traditional image of an imp, but as I mentioned, my Intuition Archetypes have nothing to do with anything you can look up or research. Playlife is not a wicked little demon!

Yeah, I was going to say "it's Bastille Day" but I figured then I would just have to explain what that is . Although people on here probably know that. I didn't until I took French in high school. My teacher thought it was cool.
