Inspired Hello... My name is Morgan. I've been reading Steve's Blog for only a couple days now, but I have been very inspired by it. I believe this is a leap-point for me, to become truly honest with myself, and begin to grow in ways I never dreamed. I used to care a great deal about pushing myself out of my "comfort zone", but have become something of a recluse in recent years. I'm hoping to "come out of my shell", and then turn around and smash it. :p |
Hello, Morgan, and welcome. In what areas of your life would you like to come out of your shell? What would a breakthrough look like for you? |
Thank you for the welcome, Angela. I find it interesting that you were the first to reply, as I have already been deeply touched by a response you gave someone on an entirely different thread. I am delighted to meet you! This question... What would a breakthrough look like for me... really struck me. I've been floundering, trying to figure out what my purpose in life is, as there are incongruities between what I think I believe and what I do from day to day. My heart cries to give love, but the rest of me cringes in fear... everyday. A breakthrough... I see myself outside. Spending time in nature - for that has always brought me joy - and also helping others. Acting in compassion, and affecting others' lives in a very real and positive way. Loving myself as well. I see myself reaching out to enjoy the presence of others, where I normally retreat within myself... eating healthy, losing weight, and feeling vibrant. I see myself overcoming my inertia, and actually having a purpose in life. Feeling my purpose, and living it. Ah, I would shine! Envisioning this made me smile... maybe knowing what I want is a step toward making it happen. |

Flow... one of the tenets of my life. And the surge of energy within me says that your intuition is right. "Live Love". You know what? Finding and fulfilling my purpose doesn't seem near so hopeless as I thought. I was right about this place. And you. Isn't it amazing how a few words can make such a difference? |
