Default Long ashes . . .

I'll first greet you all with my name:

KarmaSutra

It's an amalgamation of two seperate, yet equally important, tenets of my philosophy, The Karmic Laws.

The Karmic Laws are paradigms and idealized principles which have helped to create the man I am and keep me in tune with my higher self . They're also a means for men to shed the skin of thier youth through ritual initiation and emerge as men who recognize and embrace thier true masculine maturity.

I look forward to exchanging ideas and providing fresh methodologies with everyone here willing to open thier perceptions.

Thank you,
KarmaSutra

Default Karmic Law #1 - Love yourself thoroughly without regret or hindrance.

Gaining an understanding of who you are in every facet of your existence will raise your awareness and awaken the immense potential you have locked within your self.

If you want to gain mastery of your own destiny and lose your fear of the future, you first need to express your love for yourself and hold tight the reigns of your life.

This is the number one step. It is also the most frightening. Becoming aware of the possibilities when you successfully accept your desire to succeed is like finding the X mark on the treasure map of your own life! You will still have challenges and roadblocks but with The Karmic Laws you'll be able to find new roads to detour around and continue ahead on the path of progress.

Only you can control the power of your destiny. The right you're given from birth is the power to control ONLY what is yours: your mind, actions, emotions, behaviors, attitudes, your immediate surroundings and your own personal boundary.

This is what you own.

The abuse of our power comes when we believe we know what's best for someone else and delegate our beliefs onto them. If you want to feel a sense of intimate power and control over your own life, simply respect another's autonomy and they will listen to what you have to say and thus internalize it.

Inside of us all we have a boundless generator of energy. Our goal is to manipulate this energy for the betterment of our own lives and focus it outward through our thoughts, words and actions.
The moment you realize how precious this energy is and use this power wisely, you are given more of it exponentially.

As I add more and more of The Laws it will become clear as crystal that every personal relationship, whether it be casual dating, committed relationships, marriages, family, close friends and colleagues; all are the end result of how much you love yourself and respect your personal boundaries.

Welcome KarmicLaws! I think you'll be a great member of this forum.

Nice to have another poster here who advocates embracing masculinity, we could use it.

In fact I'd say my life didn't really turn around until I decided to "reset" my attitudes toward masculinity.

Welcome brother.

Welcome brother.

Much appreciated Brother. Perhaps I need to "Skip" all of the preaching or being the "Last Man Standing" and instead focus on my own "Reset" state of mind?

I like that very much!

Karmic Law #2 - Don't be so full of yourself that you aren't able to swallow your pride.

Pride is the downfall of a man's character. It's an insensitive conclusion from an irrational decision which pits your consciousness against your ego. Your ego, if not properly trained and controlled, will most certainly run rampant and cloud every thoughtful decision and cause you to form unsound judgements. The conclusion will always lead to regret.

By learning to accept your own point of view and keep your sense of self worth in tune with your mental acumen you'll have the necessary awareness to look at a given situation from different vantage points and perspectives, thus giving you more options for dealing with said situation.

These various choices are what seperate mature, masculine thinking from spontaneous/irrational decisions which will not merit any worthwhile experience.

Keeping a high regard for your own opinion and the opinions of your brothers and sisters will enable you to not only accept constructive criticisms but, more importantly, give you the foresight to pass your confidence onward.

If it's not rude to ask, could you write something more about this? It may help someone.

I'm guessing it's along the lines of this article -- How to Be a Man

It's actually more intricate and self aware than that. You can't immediately go from boy-tality to Men-tality by merely reading an article. It takes ritualized certainty and a definite commitment to murdering the boy in order to undergo metamorphosis and allow the man to rise up and proclaim his kingdom.

The Karmic Laws are what I use to systematically confront, acknowledge and defeat those boy instincts which lead us to challenge our decisions and allow regret and fear to override our best judgements.

KarmaSutra is such a clever name! That would make a great band name!

I enjoy your articles. Is there a way they could show up in the Spirituality forum, so they wouldn't get lost with the other introductions in this forum?

Thanks. It's already registered though so if you use it I expect royalty checks!

I'll drop a thread in there as it does seem most appropriate.

Thank you and enjoy brother.
