Default Hello from New Zealand

Hello

Welcome to my introduction about me!

My name's Rebecca, I'm turning 25 next week, and I've been a big fan of Steve Pavlina and his writings for a few months now.

I'm from London originally and I moved out to New Zealand 10 months ago. It's lovely here. It's much less smellier and the sky is genuinely brighter. What's more, I live within driving distance of beaches, volcanoes, mountains, valleys, giant lakes, geothermal spas, and sub-tropical forests. You can't say that about anywhere in the UK.......

I'm a freelance writer by trade, and I recently started my own online business on Steve's advice (and with the help of Site Build It). I'd love some feedback on my website- it's all about lucid dreaming and other altered states of awareness: World of Lucid Dreaming. Clearly, I haven't started monetizing it yet. That's the next step.

I am also an "expert" in stock market trading. I spent the last several years as a financial journalist giving stock advice. I actively trade the markets but only when I can calculate the risk to a tee. I'm afraid I'm not rich - most "stock market experts" aren't.

Thanks for listening. I look forward to sharing more stories of personal growth with you guys.

Best wishes
Rebecca

Where abouts in New Zealand are you? I'd guess your in the South Island. I am from Auckland, Manukau City to be exact. I have started trading recently on the NZSX, still learning but been successful so far.

Had a brief look @ your website, it is quite interesting.

Hi

I'm in Auckland too, in Whangaparaoa

Went on a 500-mile round trip this weekend, to Mt Ruapehu to frollick in the snow. Only to discover it's not cold enough yet and there was no snow on our side! Doh!! Still, I got to see lots of the countryside!

I'm very wary of investing in stocks and shares at the moment. The global credit markets are going to meltdown in Jul-Aug. It will be worse than the sub-prime crisis for many. My best advice is to go to cash, unless you're shorting the FTSE & Dow, which will make you an awful lot of money if you get the timing right.

Rebecca
