Default Hi, dropping by

I'm not sure how many posters read this particular Pavlina forum, but figured I'd be proper and say "Howdy."

I have read a number of his articles and find many of them enlightening. I too believe in the importance of personal growth--stagnating is tearfully boring and awfully wasteful.

Yet, what led me to post was Steve's semi-reckless rant against religions of all forms. It struck me as a bit disingenuous (despite his comments pleading otherwise) to broad brush all religious beliefs as merely fodder for the minions of the world and that all the leaders of said religions as essentially evil and power mad.

Unfortunately, there is significant truth in what he states. But that doesn't mean we (pardon this overly beaten down cliche) "throw out the baby with the bath water."

Anyway, this is just the intro area, so I'll drop it for the time being and post further thoughts on more pertinent threads.

Best of days to all of you
