I recently discovered the book The Power of Now, which led me to Steve's blog and then to these forums. I am also impressed with The Power of Now and as I am 56 years old and have been working in the corporate world for 23 years, at a job from which I was recently and permanently laid off due to my job being outsourced, I am realizing that it is my time to realize the NOW and concentrate on doing what is my best talent and most rewarding to my inner self, and that is music. I have been a musician for over 40 years and have put that on the back burner for way too long. Now I will make this my career. I have also been a bit concerned about how to insure my financial "stuff" can provide the lifestyle that I have enjoyed from my years of working. i am becoming aware through The Power of Now and Steve's thoughts that I need to stay concentrated on what will make me happy in the NOW and the rest will take care of itself, if I am doing what I truly love, it will provide.
