Smile Cheers from the Mage

Greetings everyone, nice to be here. A special hi to Steve & Erin - you've got a great thing going here.

I am... WageMage - meaning I work "magic" for a salary. Magic in my case takes the form of solving problems - usually technological ones, though I've drifted extensively from that over the years.

I've been an entrepreneur, freelancer, employee and whatever else - currently going through an employee with occasional concurrent freelacing phase.

I've recently moved from my native Portugal to the Netherlands - it's been a wild ride, Amsterdam is an interesting city to discover and the working environment is excellent (yes, I very much enjoy my job).

I'm not into... "formal" personal development - though I am a "developing person", as is anyone not dead. I find Steve's articles excellent food for thought - I don't subscribe completely to everything he says but I've come to respect and admire his insight and ability to inspire in many things. I've also come to follow the forums and was quite impressed by the level of discussion and civility here - enough that I decided to join in the fun.

So with big shout-outs to everyone, I'll see you in the next thread

Cheers!

WageMage
