Default Newbie Says Hey! from London Town

Finally decided to pop my cherry in the forum (actually it's my second post).

Just wanted to say Hi to all. I chanced upon Steve (hi Steve!) and his wordy wisdom about 1 1/2 years ago. I'd just quit my job and Steve's posts ' 10 Reasons To Give Up Your Job' and advice on becoming self employed were a real comfort and inspiration at a low time for me.

Disillusioned with climbing a career ladder, I was at a bit of a crossroads in my life and started exploring ideas about how I could get out of the rat race. I thought about - setting up a business, trading stocks, MLM marketing, dropping out of society. You name it, I considered it.

Luckily, I met a girl and fell in love and she distracted me from some of my wilder ideas. I feel like I'm slowly working out the bigger picture about how to live a fulfilling, creative and financially independent lifestyle.

Currently I working on building websites with a goal to generate enough passive income to quit my part-time job.

Coincidentally I revisited StevePavlina.com after reading his post on the raw food diet. Was it fate- karma - planetary alignments- I wondered, as one of my sites is all about raw foods!
I started eating raw about 6 months ago for quite random reasons. I probably eat about 40-50% raw foods now but I have manged to cut out all junk food and no longer crave all that nasty stuff ( I do eat some meat from time to time though)

Any how's I won't plug my website here as I feel it's bad netiquette. Maybe I'll put it in my sig at some point.

I've been rambling on for far too long but I guess it's in the spirit of one of Steve's posts. But before I bid farewell,

A final word. I'd like to brand myself as it's such a great concept.
I would say I'm:

creative
determined
savvy

That's all for now.
Love and Peace
