Default Greetings, Earth Creatures!

Hey, how's it going?

I've often found it difficult to do introductory posts without sounding like a personals ad. "I'm a 26 year old Male that enjoys boating and fast cars..."

I've also run into the problem of sounding like an Alcoholics Anonymous support group. "I've been a Pavlina Reader for over a year now..."

However, to be truthful, they both work. I am a 26 year old Male that enjoys boating, autocross, rallycross, science-fiction, and the occasional cigar. I have been reading Steve's blog for something like a year now, and it really has done what it has to do to get my life on the right track.

Now I'm in a transitionary period. A metamorphosis of what I once was, to what I want to be. Like a realization of a dream.

I've been a Sci-Fi author since I was about ten years old. I've got quite a library forming in my basement, but I never persued it, as my family put a 9-5 job ahead of their passions. Following the pattern, I, too joined the workforce at an early age, and began my years of servitude.

Of course, it only took a year of having a 'real job' before I realized it wasn't the ticket. Over the next decade, I would engage in a number of 'Sanford and Sons' style scheeming, trying to scratch my way to the top.

Last year, my best friend from College came to me and asked if I'd ever thought of putting up a website. Certainly, I had thought of putting up a site, but what in the world would be the content? As he astutely pointed out, I should start posting some of my science fiction adventures.

So, rather than collecting junk in the garage for projects that I never really would get around to, I threw out all the junk, and began a new Science Fiction/Action Thriller, and am Web Publishing it. If it turns the leaf over to a new career, I'll be even more thrilled.

So next time someone asks me what I do for a living, I'm no longer going to use the same lame punchclocking answer of "Laboratory Technician," I'm going to tell them that I'm an Author of Amazing Science Fiction.

So yeah. If that hasn't answered it enough, check out my MySpace (MySpace.com - Greg - 26 - Male - Crystal, Minnesota - www.myspace.com/bravebluemice) or my actual website, and read the Sci-Fi adventure. http://www.bravebluemice.com

Cheers,
~BraveBlueMice

Been there, done that.

Even if all those schemes may not of seemed effective while you were doing them, I bet you're a bit smarter than the average bear now for the experience. And apparently the top is the Steve Pavlina forums, eh? The currents of life move us all in some strange directions sometimes.

If you need any technical help with your website let me know, and welcome aboard!
